What is the DoF?

Is it difficult to generate images like yours?
Not difficult, but as an example, the red tulip took me about 25 hours to complete.
What camera do you use?
Olympus CW8080, a truly great camera, beautiful lens, small, light, built like a tank and incredibly affordable, I love it.
Note:It always surprises me photographers get asked about the camera they use when nobody would ever ask a painter what oil brand he favors and nobody would ask a chef what pots and saucepans he used to cook that great meal..
Many people think that a BIG expensive camera is the only way to get decent photos. That would be too easy ;-) Fortunately, a bit of talent and tenacity can generate nice images, a big Canon or Nikon alone can't !
What do you use to stitch and merge your photos?
Photoshop. Amazing software, especially when you take time to read the manual! I used to stitch with other programs but in the end, if your photos are shot properly, you can do it all in Photoshop
What else do you use ?
-A home made camera base allowing me to rotate precisely around the nodal point of my lens, a tripod was to clumsy and not sturdy enough in the end
- A large monitor helps a lot and three of them is the ultimate set up.
- A Wacom graphic tablet is a must as working with a pen is far more natural than moving your cursor around with a bar of soap (mouse) on your desk..
- Gallons of espresso, and some good (French) red wine
Are your photos for sale?
